China Yuan Edges To Second Straight High On PBOC Guidance - Wall Street Journal

SHANGHAI (Dow Jones)--China's yuan edged up to a fresh high for a second straight day against the U.S. dollar late Tuesday, after the central bank set another record-low reference exchange rate on the back of a weaker dollar.

On the over-the-counter market, the dollar was at CNY6.3805 around 0830 GMT, down from CNY6.3810 late Monday. It traded between CNY6.3705, its lowest level since the yuan's landmark revaluation in 2005, and CNY6.3818.
